sometimes you find a gold mine in places where you would never expect it. We're not talking about the mines in the mountains, but about the owners who take you there. These people are awesome
The cabins are nice, but on the small side. The owners were great and brought us clean towels when we needed more.
I have been riding the Paiut trail system for almost 20 years and have stayed at every hotel, RV park or cabin you can imagine in central Utah. I ride this area numerous times per year and I hate to say it, but the Rocky Ridge Resort is by far the best place to stay hands down. The reason I hate to say it is because now the rest of the world knows my honey hole and it will make it harder to get a reservation there. But Sam and Wendy along with their kids are the best hosts on the trail. The rooms are always very clean, the beds are like clouds and the cabins are the perfect background for a trip in the wild wild west. They know the history of the entire place and can share all kinds of stories. They even know a few famous people who have stayed there, but I'm not allowed to say who, you will need to ask them.

A great stay! Sam and Wendy were helpful and friendly. The cabins were bright, warm and clean. The views both at day and night will bring me back.
My husband and I drove to Utah from Cincinnati, Ohio to ride the north and south trails in the Fish Lake area. The day before we were to travel to Rocky Ridge Resort, we had a Polaris accident. My husband and friends helped get us to the next town so we could call 911 and have an ambulance meet us. I was rushed to the hospital in Richfield due to a head injury. I just had neck fusion surgery on May 5, and we were worried that I reinjured my neck. My husband called the owners of Rocky Ridge Resort and explained the situation. They were extremely concerned about my health and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone! Their guests are more than just a number, unlike the chain hotels.
